The Office of Campus Construction (OCC) is a unit in the portfolio of Business Strategies and Operations.
These Business Strategies and Operations units work closely with Campus Construction:
OCC also works collaboratively with the UT System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction in areas that include project safety, project insurance, submission of materials to the Board of Regents (BOR), and reporting to UT System executives such as the Chancellor and BOR members.
The Office of Campus Construction (OCC) consists of a director, associate director, project managers, construction inspectors, program analysis, contract management, and administrative support. See our organization chart (PDF)
All of our staff have extensive experience with capital projects. A majority have experience with projects carried out for UT Austin, such as Dell Medical School, Engineering Education and Research Center, Robert B. Rowling Hall, and College of Liberal Arts buildings.
OCC is a service center that relies on capital project workload to fund its operations.
