Landmarks - Artists Jose Parla Amistad America art installation in Rowling Hall

The Office of Capital Planning and Construction (CPC) cooperates with The University of Texas at Austin Landmarks public art program to add to an already extraordinary collection of public art that is viewed by thousands of people daily. Through this collaboration, public art is included in many new building projects on the campus.

Examples of Landmark public art incorporated into capital projects include these:

  • Circle with Towers, Gates Dell Computer Science Complex (GDC)
  • Clock Knot, Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Building (CPE)
  • (Forever Free) Ideas, Languages, and Conversations, Gordon-White Building (GWB)

  • Spiral of the Galaxy, Health Learning Building (HLB)
